Bored Ape Club Discord Server Got Hacked Again, 32 NFTs Stolen

32 non-fungible tokens (NFTs) were stolen after they had gained access to the Discord servers of two Yuga Lab’s projects, Bored Ape Yacht Club and OtherSide Metaverse.

32 NFTs hacked in just 30 minutes

On the afternoon of June 4, the Bored Ape Club Discord server suffered its 2nd hack within this year. RichardVagner.eth’s Twitter was also attacked because a member of the admin team did not delete the access history. Reportedly, a malicious code was spread, causing many people to lose their NFTs. A total of 32 NFTs, were stolen, wiped totaling 145 ETH (equivalent to $256.6 million).

According to PeckShieldAlert, a real-time scam tokens and phishing sites detection, these NFTs were stolen in just 30 minutes, including APE, MAYC, BAYC, Otherdeed, and many other NFTs.

As reported by OKHotshot, a Twitter account, @BorisVagner’s Community Manager has been compromised. This caused hackers to easily steal access. Currently, hacker’s wallet has transferred money to at least 4 other wallet addresses.

In April, the Bored Ape Club Discord server was hacked for the first time, causing many NFTs to be stolen. At that time, hackers stole BAYC #3738, 1 MAYC and 2 NFTs from Jay Chou’s Doodles collection. After that, ApeCoin dropped 8.5% in 24 hours.

Bored Ape Club is a collection of 10,000 NFTs, which are staked from 78 ETH to 99,999,999,999,999 ETH. So, it is not surprising why many hackers have targeted these expensive NFTs.
