Is Elon Musk Stopping the PEPE Boom on Twitter?

David Gokhshtein, the well-known influencer in the cryptocurrency world and founder of Gokhshtein Media, recently questioned Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, about the possible suppression of tweets and memes related to the Pepe (PEPE) meme cryptocurrency.

Several Twitter users who commented on the thread have also experienced similar issues with their PEPE-related tweets being suppressed.

Is Elon Musk suppressing tweets related to PEPE?

David Gokhshtein took to Twitter to express his belief that tweets relating to PEPE are being suppressed, as he has received multiple notifications saying “tweet unavailable.”

A Twitter user replied to his tweet, confirming that they have also experienced this issue. Other users in the comment thread suggested that it’s time for Crypto Twitter to explore other meme coins, such as FLOKI.

Some users even think that the hype surrounding PEPE has died down, as people have made a considerable profit and moved on to other “degen projects” to make money off. One humorous user commented that Elon Musk may be preventing PEPE from becoming more popular than his favorite meme coin, DOGE.

PEPE has fallen 56% from its historical peak

CoinMarketCap’s data indicates that PEPE, the meme coin, is currently trading over 56% lower than its all-time high of $0.000004354, which was achieved on May 5. As of now, PEPE’s market capitalization is valued at $738.74 million. Earlier, LilMoonLambo, a crypto analyst, predicted that PEPE could replace Dogecoin as a market sentiment indicator.
