MixMob, a Solana-powered Metaverse Game, has raised $7 million in its most recent fundraising round. This game is built on Remix Culture, which incorporates both play-to-earn and user-generated content.
MixMob received money from a number of well-known venture capital firms. Among them are Ascensive Assets, Not3lau Capital, and IOSG, to name a few.
“This significant influx of capital will help us to realize our strategic objectives over the next months,” said the platform’s CEO, Simon Vieira. “The play-to-earn sector is showing no signs of slowing down,” he continues. We are confident that MixMob will be a hit with the creative community”.
What is MixMob about?
The metaverse game is set in a world where human culture has been destroyed by a demonic master AI. As a result, gamers must complete activities in order to restore humanity. MixMob was developed by a group of experts with decades of experience in their respective fields.
MixMob’s official resistance masks, changeable NFTs, were successfully sold out. Within the metaverse, these digital artifacts serve as players’ distinct identities. Avatar holders have access to unique Discord channels as well as early access to airdrops. Owners of NFTs are automatically members of the MixMob DAO. Aside from masks, users can get MixBots, which are pet NFTs that evolve based on their actions.
Phase I of MixMob is now focused on a strategy card racing game. As a result, Phase II will see the game’s dimensions develop into a full-fledged universe akin to Fortnite. In the meanwhile, the team is focusing on game mechanics and flows, such as tokenomics and land ownership.
