Coca-Cola Launches NFT Collection on Coinbase Layer-2 Network Base - The largest soft drinks brand in the world has chosen Base as the next blockchain to launch its first NFT collection.

    As a part of its “Onchain Summer” event, Coinbase layer-2 network Base has partnered with Coca-Cola to launch a limited edition NFT collection. The collection, named “Global Masterpiece”, includes classic masterpieces like Edvard Munch’s “The Scream” and Johannes Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring.” The collection also incorporates the contemporary works of artists like Aket and Vikram Kushwah.

    Coca-Cola expects that the collection can connect traditional and contemporary arts and be a new artistic expression in the form of NFTs on the Internet. Interested users can connect the wallet to the NFT minting site on layer-2 Base and purchase these NFTs from Aug 14-16, 2023.

    Base is an Ethereum layer-2 blockchain built by leading US crypto exchange Coinbase. Its mainnet went live and available for everyone. Since its launch, Base mainnet has attracted a lot of attention from the crypto community through projects like memecoin BALD (although it is a rug pull) or the social network
