According to on-chain analytics platform Arkham Intelligence, crypto wallets associated with former US President Donald Trump have moved Ethereum (ETH) to exchanges in recent weeks, with a value of 1,075 ETH or $2.4 million.
Arkham determined these wallets belonged to Donald Trump, based on the asset declaration documents made public by the billionaire.
Ethereum wallets were created by Trump to serve his NFT sale activities. As we know, former President Donald Trump announced the first NFT collection in late 2022, including 45,000 NFTs with a selling price of $99/NFT. According to data from OpenSea, the NFT collection has so far reached a transaction volume of more than 15,000 ETH ($35 million).
Then, Donald Trump continued to release the second NFT collection in April 2023 and the third this December, offering privileges for holders such as receiving exclusive items or meeting face-to-face with the former president.
ETH price rallied nearly 10% over the last 24 hours and is trading at $2,421 at the time of writing.
