    NFT Trader Hacked, Users Lost Millions of Dollars

    Cryptory.net - Hackers have attacked NFT Trader and stolen many high-value NFTs.

    NFT Trade became the target of hackers on Dec 16, many high-value NFTs have been stolen, including Bored Ape Yacht Club. On Twitter, NFT Trader said the platform’s old smart contracts have been attacked by hackers, calling on users to quickly revoke delegations to two addresses: 0xc310e760778ecbca4c65b6c559874757a4c4ece0 and 0x13d8faF4A690f5AE52E2D2C52938d1167057B9af.

    Hackers then posted a series of messages, in which one of the attackers attributed the original exploit to another user. However, (s)he still requires ransom payments to return the NFTs.

    The attacker also had some puzzling moves such as returning Bored Ape NFT and 31 ETH to an investor worth nearly $70,680 at the time of writing.

    According to NFT Trader, there was a malicious code execution from a third party to our two older smart contracts. They have implemented all necessary measures to prevent any such incidents in the future.

    On Dec 17, another NFT project, Flooring Protocol, was also attacked, resulting in an estimated loss of $1.54 million.
