Shibarium Expected to Go Live in August 2023

Cryptory.net - In a recent blog post, the Shiba Inu lead Shytoshi Kusama revealed that their team could launch Shibarium in August 2023.

In the blog post, Kusama said Shibarium – the much-awaited layer 2 blockchain – is expected to launch at the Blockchain Futurist Conference, which is scheduled to take place in August in Canada.

Kusama highlighted that the event is significant because it coincides with the third anniversary of Shiba Inu. As the blog post noted, Shiba Inu will become the main sponsor of the upcoming Blockchain Futurist Conference, as well as ETHToronto and ETHWomen hackathon.

Kusama will also speak for the first time via artificial intelligence at a conference on the Shibarium release date. This conference will display the “world paper” of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, which announces new projects and provides details on Shibarium’s new features.

At the Blockchain Futurist Conference, Shibarium will hold a hackathon that will last for several months. There are also two booths showcasing Shibarium and other Shiba Inu-themed products, platforms and services such as Shib the Metaverse, Shibacals, Shiba Eternity, Shiboshis and more.

Shiba Inu is currently one of the most prominent meme coins. What makes this meme special is that SHIB is trying to develop an ecosystem with many different Dapps. The Shiba Inu team previously launched many projects in 2022, including Shiba Eternity, Shibarium Portal and the virtual world SHIB.

However, what the community looks forward to most in SHIB is Shibarium. Although it was originally slated to launch in 2022, it was delayed due to various reasons. In March 2023, Shiba Inu announced the beta of its Layer 2 Shibarium solution after months of delay.
