STEPN already has 2 Realms on 2 blockchains, Solana and BNB Chain. On July 7, the project rolled out Realm 3 on Ethereum, called APE Realm.
As in the announcement, APE Realm is focused on inclusivity. This Realm will help attract more new users and revenue will be partly deducted to support old Realms.
Especially, Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) holders will be able to have free mint for APE Sneaker.
The purpose of this free mint is to promote STEPN through the big community like BAYC. This is currently the leading NFT collection on the market, owned by many KOLs, and celebrities around the world. Recently, BAYC appeared in the music video of Eminem and Snoop Dogg.
For users of 2 older realms, STEPN claims they still receive many benefits such as:
- New game formats are compatible with all chains;
- Upcoming partnerships will be available on the old Realms;
- NFTs created from partnerships are open to all users.
In addition, the project also confirmed that it will continue to develop the DEX DOOAR exchange on other chains besides Solana. At the same time, it will integrate cross-chain features to bring users more conveniences. The ultimate goal is to make DOOAR a super-platform, serving all swap features in the STEPN ecosystem.
