How to start playing?
Joining the game requires 4 simple steps:
- Creating a MetaMask wallet
- Transfer Ethereum to MetaMask
- Convert Ethereum to LAND in MetaMask for League of Kingdoms
- Creating a League of Kingdoms account
Bellow are detailed guides for each step:
1. Creating a MetaMask wallet
– Access MetaMask site: https://metamask.io/
– On the top right corner of the site, click on the Download button.
– Then choose Install MetaMask for Chrome or Install MetaMask for Firefox (depending on your browser) MetaMask store listing page will show up
– Depending on your browser, click on Add to Chrome/Add to Firefox, MetaMask will be added to your browser’s extension
– Once done, click on MetaMask in your Extensions area to launch your wallet
– Set up your wallet to use for transactions by following these steps:
- Select “Create a Wallet.”
- Create a username and password
- Record your uniquely assigned Secret Recovery Phrase. If you lose this series of words or forget what order they’re in, you will lose access to your wallet, and it will be unrecoverable.
- Confirm the phrase by placing all of the words in the assigned order
- If you have any trouble, visit MetaMask Support.
2. Transfer Ethereum (ETH) to MetaMask
There are 2 options to send ETH to your wallet:
– Firstly is to buy ETH on a cryptocurrency exchange:
- Head to coinbase.com and click “Get Started” to set up your account
- Set up your account and verify your identity
- Connect a debit card or bank account to authorize your account
- Click Buy / Sell and select Ethereum. Click Preview Buy to confirm your order, then select Buy Now to complete the purchase of ETH.
- After purchasing ETH, you can send it to your wallet using your wallet’s public address.
- Navigate to your wallet by opening up the MetaMask browser extension.
- Click on Account to copy your ETH address. Your ETH address is a 42-character code that is similar to a bank account number. You can use this code to transfer and receive crypto with anyone, from anywhere in the world.
- From Coinbase site, select Portfolio then find Ethereum.
- Click Send and paste in your Ethereum wallet address from MetaMask in the To field.
- Choose Continue then Confirm to send your ETH to your wallet. This step will last within minutes.
– Or you can buy ETH directly from MetaMask using Wyre or Transak
There are three buttons under your ETH balance in MetaMask: Buy, Send, and Swap
Click Buy to be redirected to Wyre or Transak, then use a debit card or bank transfer to deposit ETH into your MetaMask wallet.
3. Swap Ethereum to LAND in MetaMask
- On MetaMask main menu, choose Swap
- Under the Swap to the token area, select LAND.
- Enter the number of Ethereum you want to transfer and then click on Review Swap
- Check again, verify your details, and then click on Complete
4. Sign up for a League of Kingdom account
With LAND ịn your wallet, you can now join in the game:
- Access League of Kingdom site: https://m-land.leagueofkingdoms.com/home
- Click Log in, then choose MetaMask, enter your wallet account
- A form to register will show up
- Complete form and click Create Account
- Done, now your League of Kingdom account is available
