League of Kingdom beginners guides to play
Once done all processes in our last post, now you can hop into League of Kingdoms world. To start playing, you are required to own Land, an essential in-game asset. To do so, buy Land using your MetaMask balance. After finishing the purchase, you can then begin to grow or develop your own kingdom.
At the current state, the most typical gameplay journey is as described below:
- Build kingdom
- Farm and hunt
- Join alliance
- Battle
Dive in the details below:
1. Kingdom building
– Firstly, of course, you need to build. A kingdom is formed by constructions, and constructions are built on the Land you bought at the beginning of the game.
This process will require time and resources. The higher levels, the more resource/time investments but higher productivities. A kingdom’s level is tied to the level of your castles, which is located at the center.
– A powerful country cannot lack a strong line of defense. To enhance battle and production, we need research. Battle technologies include Cavalry speeds and production technologies are also abilities to improve productivity such as resource gathering speed, etc.
There are 3 major avenues for obtaining and upgrading technologies:
- Academy: Invest resources and time to develop new technologies at the academy buildings.
- Alliance technology: Develop a suite of additional technologies by being part of an alliance.
- Mastery: A range of advanced technologies owned by earning mastery points. These points can be obtained by upgrading your lord’s rank through hunting monsters.
– Train troops is another important process to build up a stable kingdom. There are three types of troops: Infantry, Archery, and Cavalry. And each of the types has 5 tiers.
You can strengthen one troop type over another by investing in various research and technologies aforementioned.
2. Farming and hunting
- Farming
– There are five primary resources including Food, Wood, Stone, Gold + Crystals, and many other auxiliary items you will find the need for.
– You can harvest them within your kingdom or venture into the wilderness to farm. Every primary resource can also be harvested from farms within your castle except for the crystal.
– Crystal mines can only be found on rare occasions.
- Hunting
You can hunt monsters to loot resources, awards and upgrade the level of your lord. The rarity of items dropped is based on which level the monster is. Some special monsters even give you EXP, which can be used to gain mastery skills.
3. Alliance
Alliances play an essential role within the gameplay. This is the key to League of Kingdoms throne. Whether it is participating in a dragon hunt or conquesting of shrines/congresses, joining in an alliance is a pre-requisite. There is an entire suite of features you can explore and take advantage of but not limited to alliance gifts, shops, and buildings.
4. Battle
In order to expand your territory or obtain more valued resources, you need to kill monsters and invade other players’ kingdoms. There are 3 battle modes. You can choose which one you think is suitable most for you.
- PvE
In this mode, your mission is to kill monsters. There are various types of monsters. Some can be hunted in solo matches, but some will require to gather alliance to defeat.
- PvP
Battle with other kingdoms and conquer their Land
- MMO
Join in the game events and enjoy playing with thousands of other global gamers concurrently on the same game server.
* Note: You can leverage equipable items, called treasures to contribute your PvE, PvP, MMO performances.
Some key tips for you
You can follow these recommendations to make League of Kingdoms playing easier:
1. Keep an eye on your resources
Resources serve as fuel for your kingdoms, so it’s essential to always pay attention to these assets.
– Always upgrade your farm, lumber camp, quarry, and gold mine to maximize your productivity
– Send your troops to gather the highest level of resources outside of your kingdom
– Obtain more resources by defeating monsters outside of your kingdom. But keep in mind that only hunt monsters have the same or lower level than yours.
2. Upgrade your hospital to the highest level
This is a war game, so there are fights everywhere and every moment. So, keep your hospital to the max in order to not be out of capacity during a war state.
3. Join a trusted and strong alliance
A trustworthy alliance will bring a lot of benefits, such as:
– Protect you from hostile players
– Help you get an extra buff to your troops
– Speed up your kingdom building
– Buy some useful stuff in the alliance shop
– Join a rally against powerful monsters
4. Always level up castles
To unlock more features in your kingdom like troop limit, marching troop capacity and kingdom rank, a higher level castle is required.
5. Upgrade buildings
Your kingdom level is based on the castle level. And your castle level is tied to building level. So it is wiser to keep your castle and building at the same level.
6. Upgrade academy technology
The technology of your Academy will increase your troop’s stats like HP, attack, defense, speed, troops load, and enable you to train higher tier soldiers. It even increases your resources production, gathering speed, gathering storage, and more. So it’s essential to keep your technology at the highest level possible.
